Service Crew

Salary Range: RM2,000-4,000
Sushi Oribe is currently looking to hire a hard-working and dedicated Service Crew member to support our growing business.

Ideal candidates should possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:

Experience
A minimum of one years’ experience in the service field within the hospitality industry but preferably at a Japanese restaurant or high-end restaurant.

  • Warm, cheerful and confident personality with a can-do attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well with the assistant chef and kitchen crew
  • Ability to work well under pressure especially during peak hours and busy periods

  • A professional server devoted to providing the ultimate dining experience for customers
  • Maintains outstanding standards of customer service
  • Handles the fast-paced work environment with confidence and efficiency
  • Builds strong relationships with customers through friendly interactions, attentive service, and appreciation of their loyal patronage
  • Quick to satisfy customer requests and needs
  • Diligently studies the important facts about Japanese cuisine and alcoholic beverages in order to present the information in an articulate manner to customers
  • Develop strong working rapport with the kitchen crew to ensure smooth communication of customer’s preferences and to enable speedy meal service
  • Regularly request feedback from customers to share with the team for improvement measures
