Ideal candidates should possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:
Experience
A minimum of one years’ experience in the service field within the hospitality industry but preferably at a Japanese restaurant or high-end restaurant.

- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well with the assistant chef and kitchen crew

- Builds strong relationships with customers through friendly interactions, attentive service, and appreciation of their loyal patronage
- Quick to satisfy customer requests and needs
- Diligently studies the important facts about Japanese cuisine and alcoholic beverages in order to present the information in an articulate manner to customers
- Develop strong working rapport with the kitchen crew to ensure smooth communication of customer’s preferences and to enable speedy meal service
- Regularly request feedback from customers to share with the team for improvement measures
